A Proud Sporting Milestone
Under the guidance of President Harish G. Amin and the dedicated leadership of Youth Wing Sub-Committee President Nilesh Poojary Palimar, the Association participated in the prestigious Ramanath Payyade Memorial Football Tournament 2026, organized in association with Karnataka Sporting Association.
The tournament witnessed participation from 12 competitive teams. Demonstrating exceptional teamwork, discipline, and determination, the Billava Association team delivered an outstanding performance and proudly advanced to the finals for the very first time.
The thrilling final match was held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, where the team faced Karnataka Football Club. In a closely fought contest filled with excitement and sporting spirit, Karnataka Football Club secured victory with a decisive goal just four minutes before the final whistle. Despite the narrow loss, the Billava Association team emerged as proud runners-up — a historic achievement for the Association.
Individual Honors and Coaching Excellence
The team’s brilliant performance was further recognized through individual accolades:

Mohit Poojary – Best Midfielder
Behind this success was the dedicated coaching and training provided by Kumar Poojary and Nagesh Kotian of the Kalyan Local Office. Their consistent guidance and mentorship played a crucial role in shaping the team’s journey to the finals.
