The Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Bhiwandi Local Office of The Billawar Association Mumbai was held with great devotion and enthusiasm on the occasion of Gurumurthy Installation Day on 14th and 15th February 2026.

The celebrations culminated in a grand religious gathering on Sunday, 15th February, at the Devu S. Poojary Memorial Vedike, located at Varaldevi Mata–Mangal Bhavan, Kamatghar, Bhiwandi.

The event also marked the release of a special Silver Jubilee commemorative issue titled “Smriti.” The program witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, community leaders, and members from various local offices of the association.

Inspiring Address by Ashok Purohit

The gathering was blessed by the keynote address of internationally renowned priest and astrologer Ashok Purohit.

In his address, he emphasized that community associations and social organizations play a vital role in uniting society while nurturing culture, happiness, and inspiration among people. Referring to the philosophy of Narayana Guru, particularly the message “One God, One Religion,” he highlighted that the Billawa community continues to serve society with pride by promoting unity and harmony.

He further stated that success in life requires a clear goal and the guidance of a Guru. Individuals blessed with deep devotion and spiritual strength towards their Guru, he said, are capable of achieving remarkable milestones in life.

Purohit also appreciated the strength and growth of the association, noting that through 22 local offices and more than 40,000 members, the organization has built a strong and united community network.

He particularly acknowledged the leadership of Harish G. Amin for encouraging youth, women, and talented individuals to actively participate in spiritual, social, and cultural initiatives. He expressed hope that all future social projects undertaken under his guidance would be successfully realized with the blessings of Gurudev.

Release of Silver Jubilee Commemorative Issue

On this auspicious occasion, the Silver Jubilee commemorative issue “Smriti” was officially released by President Harish G. Amin in the presence of Ashok Purohit, distinguished guests, and office bearers of the association.
