The Bharat Co-operativeBank (Mumbai) Ltd launched its International Visa Debit Card on 28^thMay 2012 at a glittering function held at Hotel Sai Palace, Mumbai. Shri.S. Karuppasamy, the Executive Director of Reserve Bank of India unveiled the card in the presence of a august gathering.

Shri.S. Karuppasamy expressed his pleasure over the Bank's performance & said that the VISA Debit card was another feather in the cap of Bharat Bank. He informed that as a policy decision, Reserve Bank encourages growth of financially sound & well-managed banks.

Shri Uttam Nayak, Group Country Manager India & South Asia- VISA congratulated Bharat bank for providing VISA debit cards - a secure & convenient delivery channel to its customers.

Shri B R. Bhatt, Ex. GeneralManager, Corporation Bank said, The performance of the bank is highly commendable. Gross NPA of 0.70% is difficult for even the best of the banks in India. Bank has the necessary infrastructure. The size of the payments market is unlimited & Bank is well poised to grow by leaps & bounds leveraging technology.

With Visa International Debit card, Bharat Bank customers now have the convenience to access & transact on their account from millions of ATMs & POS terminals across the world.
